embark upon many ventures in order to make a living by the lake. From
creating Lyback's Ice Fishing to building wooden boats and making maple

True love for a place (and for a person) is often found in the smallest details. Fifty Thousand Holes is such a story -- an ode of love by a family for its home on Mille Lacs Lake in the northwoods of Minnesota. Just a note from Eddy---Phyllis, (my Mom), passed away on December 24th, Christmas Eve, this past year. she was 88 years old. We still have about 1000 books left from the last printing. All sales of them will be donated to Faith Lutheran church, in Isle for the Sunday School program for her great granddaughter Isabel Rose.
